Writer: nirvana with nishinirvana with nishi

Let’s make soup!!

Do like to have a bowl of warm comforting soup on cold winter nights? Which not only gives you warmth and comfort but also provides you nutrition. If yes, then you’re at a right place. Because today we are making soup.

Whenever I feel hungry but too lazy to cook I make soup because it’s too easy to make as well as it’s fulfilling. One bowl and you’re done for your dinner. I think a good bowl of soup should be nourishing as well as tasty. And it should be served on the side of a good bread. I mean a really good toasted bread. This blog is not about a perfect bread, so let’s not go into that (hehe).

So which vegetables are we using here? Tomatoes, carrot, and king of red vegetables that is beetroot with some seasoning obviously.

By the way is there anyone out there, reading this blog? If yes I would really love to that you’re out there. So just drop your favorite dish in comments.

Let’s start with our recipe.

What you need-

· 3-4 medium sized tomatoes

· 1 beetroot

· 2 medium carrots

· 1 onion

· 1-2 garlic cloves

· Salt as per taste

· ½ tbsp sugar

· 1 tsp Black pepper

· 1 tsp cumin powder

· 1 tbsp Oil

How to make it-

1. In a pot add oil, when oil gets warm add minced cloves of garlic and finely diced onions. Sauté them until becomes translucent.

2. Then add diced carrots, tomato, beetroot and 2 cups of water in it.

3. Add salt and sugar too.

4. Let it boil for 15-20 mins or until all veggies comes to a mash able consistency.
